This is release 3.0.2 of SAM-FS for Solaris 2.4 (Sparc). The latest release is a Patch level 8. If you have an earlier version, we strongly recommend that you upgrade. If you have not read the manual, now is a good time. Any conflict between the manual and the release notes should be resolved in favor of the release notes.

NOTE: SAM_FS has been tested on the sun4c, sun4d and sun4m kernel architectures. It has been known NOT to run on the sun4 kernel architecture. We are looking into the sun4 architecture problems.
